Leaded Lights

Holdsworth Windows produce all types and designs of leaded lights for churches, colleges and private houses.

The leaded lights will be made either to match existing or to suit the particular style of building. These lights are usually made from clear sheet glass, but can have handmade antique or patterned glass, and can also re-use existing glass.

The lead cames are usually reinforced with steel cores, and can vary in width from 4mm, for cabinet work up to 20mm. Copper ties can also be fitted for attaching to saddle bar.

As an alternative to genuine leaded lights we can also provide leaded double glazed units made up using 4mm advanced soft coated low E glass with argon gas filled cavities, having a centre pane 'U' value of 1.2w/m²k.
